And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.✦And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.✦And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:✦For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.✦Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.✦And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.✦Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.✦And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.✦Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.✦To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.✦Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.✦Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.✦Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.✦Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.✦He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.✦And I will give him the morning star.✦And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:✦He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.✦Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.✦He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.✦I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.✦And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.✦Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.✦Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.✦For the truth’s sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever.✦And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.✦But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.✦And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.✦Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.✦Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.✦We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.✦And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.✦We love him, because he first loved us.✦For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.✦Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?✦And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.✦And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.✦Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.✦Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.✦Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,✦To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,✦Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.✦That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:✦Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:✦Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.✦Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;✦Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.✦But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.✦But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:✦Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.✦Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;✦For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.✦And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?✦But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.✦And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.✦But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.✦Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.✦The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:✦Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.✦But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.✦Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.✦Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of rstfruits of his creatures.✦But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.✦But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.✦For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.✦By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.✦God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.✦Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:✦By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.✦For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.✦That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:✦Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;✦And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.✦Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?✦Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;✦That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.✦Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;✦I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;✦Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.✦Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.✦If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:✦It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:✦Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.✦For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.✦Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,✦But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:✦Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.✦Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.✦For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:✦For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.✦For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.✦Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.✦And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,✦In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:✦Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;✦When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day. Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,✦That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.✦But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sancti cation of the Spirit and belief of the truth:✦Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.✦But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.✦For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.✦For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.✦For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:✦Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.✦Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.✦Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.✦Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.✦If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.✦Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.✦And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:✦Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:✦For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;✦But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.✦Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.✦Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.✦Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.✦For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:✦I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.✦Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,✦If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.✦And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:✦Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,✦But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.✦For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.✦And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.✦For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.✦And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.✦According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:✦That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.✦And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:✦But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,✦That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:✦Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.✦In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:✦According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:✦Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:✦Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.✦Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:✦Therefore I take pleasure in in rmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.✦As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.✦Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.✦And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;✦Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.✦For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;✦While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.✦For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.✦Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.✦But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.✦Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;✦Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.✦Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.✦Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.✦For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.✦Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;✦Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.✦Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,✦In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.✦For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.✦So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.✦But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.✦The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.✦If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.✦Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?✦But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.✦But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.✦That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.✦Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.✦So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:✦Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.✦Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.✦For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.✦So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.✦There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.✦For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.✦That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.✦For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.✦But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.✦And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.✦But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.✦For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.✦For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.✦Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.✦What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?✦Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.✦Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.✦Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.✦But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.✦Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.✦For he that is dead is freed from sin.✦Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:✦Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.✦For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.✦That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.✦Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.✦Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.✦But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.✦Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:✦And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.✦Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:✦But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:✦Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?✦Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?✦Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?✦(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.✦But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.✦Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.✦And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.✦And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.✦And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:✦For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.✦Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.✦
